How we work
The operating terms, responsibilities, and deliverables for research projects with Evon Bio.

Sample origin
We work with commercially available cell lines from repositories such as Coriell and ATCC, and with material supplied under a Material Transfer Agreement. For MTA material, the provider represents that it was collected under an IRB-approved protocol and informed consent permitting research use, including commercial research, and is supplied de-identified. We do not accept biopsies or blood directly from individuals.

If reprogramming fails
Some samples do not yield colonies on the first attempt, for reasons that are not always apparent. We run a second attempt using a modified strategy at no additional cost. If the second attempt also fails, we charge half the quoted price and return any remaining material.

If an organoid batch is lost
Contamination or culture failure before delivery means we restart the batch at no cost. You are billed only for what is delivered.

What you receive
Cell lines and organoids: cryopreserved vials or live culture, with a Certificate of Analysis and imaging characterization. Molecular assays: raw data plus an analyzed report with figures. Computational work: processed data, publication-ready figures, and the analysis code.

In-house and outsourced work
All cell work, drug screening, confocal microscopy, immunofluorescence image analysis, and bioinformatics are performed in-house. Sequencing and laboratory processing for bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq, and methylation, as well as karyotyping and digital SNP, are performed by accredited partner laboratories under our coordination. You receive a single Certificate of Analysis and deal with one party.

Material retention
We retain remaining material for 6 months after delivery at no charge. Longer storage is available as a service. Material is destroyed after that period unless you request otherwise.

Confidentiality
A mutual NDA is available on request and can be in place before scoping.
